As they did with the Galaxy S3 before it came out, Samsung is keeping the Galaxy S4 tightly under wraps, but this never completely stops some information from leaking to the public.
Today is an example of such a leak, when a benchmark taken from GLBenchmark’s servers revealed the Korean version of the Galaxy S4, the SHV-E300S. And even if it’s possible these are not the handset’s final retail specs, the data does give us some solid characteristics to work with.
The CPU runs at 1.9Ghz, the display boasts a 1920*1080 resolution and, more surprising, is the presence of an Adreno 320 chip. This graphics processor made by Qualcomm constitutes the real breaking news here.
This does not mean the Adreno 320 will be in the final product, but Samsung is testing around different configurations to make the smartphone as powerful as possible. As was expected though, Android 4.2.1 and 4G are present.
We cannot confirm the final Galaxy S4 tech specs yet, but this is a real demonstration by Samsung that they are putting all their care and love to create the best product possible for each market. Exciting stuff!
